The last blaze of intense light on a late winter/early spring afternoon on Edisto Island. The marshes along Fishing Creek are subdued, without their summertime glaring greens.

This one is about 30 minutes before the time in Evening Light, Edisto Island. Here, the sun is still above the horizon, shooting light between the fingers of land out over the distant marsh.

Fall and spring are some of my favorite times on the island, quieter with a changing palette of color. Lots of lavenders, roses, mango oranges, and silvery greys.
